Let’s talk about Katherine Nelson for a minute. She’s kind of amazing.
First of all, she’s a mom to four kids, which is a job and a half in itself. I know this. I have four kids too. Even when I just had ONE kid it was a job and a half – - being a mom deserves praise, it’s hard! Plus I always like to hear about women who have families and also take their talents out in the world. Because that’s a job and a half PLUS another job and a half on top of it.
Katherine Nelson has definitely given her talents to the world. Not only did her third album just come out, but she’s also an actress. She played the beautiful Emma in the movie Emma Smith, My Story. She was also in Joseph Smith: Prophet of the Restoration, and 17 Miracles. She’s also won awards for her music. And also she has a picture on her website where she’s wearing a red dress in a blooming orchard, and I just really like it.
